BIDDING CONDITIONS

  produce a recent Kbis extract (extract from the Company Register) for their company

  provide bank security deposits (cf PAYMENT paragraph)

PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS

3. 
   bank cheque payable to SCP TOROSSIAN: you must ask your bank manager to write in the provisional total nearest to the sum at which you wish to acquire the lot, less the 150,000 € bidding deposit (Cf Bidding Deposit paragraph), the total on the cheque being not less than 680,000 €. If your purchase total exceeds this sum, you must make out a cheque for the extra; if it is less, SCP TOROSSIAN will refund the difference.
   

4. 
   Swift transfer (the transfer order must be given immediately after the auction at the value on the day of the auction) on the condition that you hand over a letter of guarantee (which must be written in French or English) drawn up by your bank by 12.00 on 26 June 2009 at the latest, the content of which is as follows: We, (give the name of the bank) guarantee that “Company X”, which has an account with our establishment under number “Y”, has at its disposal the sum of “Z” (euros or state the currency) to be used for the purchases it intends to make at the PAPETERIES DU PONT DE CLAIX auction on 30 June 2009.

   French buyers: VAT at 19.6% is recoverable for companies subject to this system.

   Foreign buyers (EEC): buyers subject to VAT are subject to the intra-community system and do not pay VAT (they must provide their intra-community VAT number and an attestation that the lot they have purchased will be exported to an EEC country (CMR)). Buyers not subject to VAT will be required to pay French VAT.
